Olive Leaf Extract
DESCRIPTION
Olivir™ is a highly effective virucide and bactericide made by
extracting certain active ingredients from the leaf of a specific type of
olive tree (Olea europa) using a hydro-ethanolic process. It is a
green gray greenish powder.
BIOCHEMISTRY
In 1906, olive leaf extracts were found to be superior to quinine for
the treatment of malarial infections. In 1957, the active ingredient,
oleuropein, was isolated and studied as a treatment for high blood
pressure. In 1970 and continuing to the present, the hydrolyzed form of
oleuropein (Calcium Elenolate) has been tested and found effective against
dozens of different viruses and many strains of bacteria. Olivir™ kills
viruses by interfering with certain amino acid production processes
necessary for the vitality of the specific virus. In addition, Olivir™
stimulates phagocytosis. Olivir™ has the ability to penetrate infected
host cells and irreversibly inhibit viral replication.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1 tablet every 4-6 hours (not to exceed 4 tablets per day)
TOXICITY, CAUTIONS & CONTRAINDICATIONS
Olivir™ is not toxic. In certain individuals with significant
microbial burden, the desirable internal cleansing action of Olivir™ can
sometimes cause a "die-off" effect. When the body is full of the
dead yeast and other microbes, the person can experience one or more
detoxification symptoms (such as headache, fatigue, nausea and flu-like
symptoms) until these dead microbes are eliminated from the body. Olivir™
